Foundations

Discover the joy of music with your baby through gentle songs, movement, and sensory play. Each class supports early brain development and strengthens the bond between you and your little one in a calm, nurturing environment.

Level 1

You will find so much joy in this active class as you watch your toddler begin to walk, talk, sing, play, clap, tap, and dance---all on their own! Throughout each class, your Kindermusik teacher will give little tips to create daily routines with music.

Level 2

Older toddlers have tons of energy and curiosity. Level 2 classes are all about exploring creativity and enhancing cognitive development through singing, dancing, and instrument play, while grownups learn how to help unpack big emotions with music.

Mixed Ages

Mixed Age classes are open to anyone in the age range, but it is a great choice for families or friend groups with a wider range of ages. Educators accommodate powerful and enjoyable music and movement activities for all stages of development, so that everyone is comfortable, engaged, and learning!

Level 3

Level 3 classes blend storytelling, instrument exploration, and movement to foster your preschooler's independence, social and emotional skills, language skills, and self-control. Caregivers join a portion of each class to participate in the music-making.

Level 4

A Level 4 class focuses on basic musical symbols, complex instruments, and more in-depth movement games. Children begin to master new music terms and concepts, and ready themselves for elementary math, reading, and writing. Caregivers join a portion of each class to participate in the music-making.

Musicians Year 1

A joyful, encouraging team environment can help your child build a true love for music. In Musicians Year 1, children begin to read, write, and play simple music patterns using the glockenspiel. Classes focus on listening, rhythm, and teamwork - laying a joyful foundations for lifelong musicianship. Weekly at-home activities and instrument practice are essential for success in this class. Caregivers join a portion of each class to participate in the music-making.

2026-2027 School Year Schedule

Musicians Year 2

Building on Year 1, children deepen their understanding of musical notation, harmony, and composition with the use of a dulcimer and recorder. Music and instruments from around the world are explored. Year 2 strengthens musical confidence and prepares students for private lessons or school music programs. Weekly at-home activities and instrument practice are essential for success in this class.Caregivers join a portion of each class to participate in the music-making.

It is recommended to complete Year 1 before enrolling in Year 2.

Summer 2026 Schedule

Cool Ukes (6 - 9 Years old)

Musicians Year 1 and Year 2 are not offered in the summer. Instead, students can take a ukulele class! Kindermusik experience not required.

Cool Ukes I: for beginners. 5 year olds will be considered if they have completed Musicians Year 1
Cool Ukes II: for children who have completed Cool Ukes I or have prior ukulele experience

Summer Registration Fee - $15
Materials Fee - $65 (covers purchase of ukulele and sheet music your child gets to keep) or $15 if you already own a soprano ukulele
